Atousa Torabi
Postdoctoral Associate Disney Research Pittsburgh
I'm a postdoctral associate at Disney Research Pittsburgh (DRP) currently focused on understanding visual-media with natural language and human activity recognition. I work with Leonid Sigal. Previously I was a postdoctral researcher at Montreal Institute for Learning Algorithms (MILA), with Aaron Courville and Chris Pal, working on deep learning models. I have experience on Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) and Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNS) models and their applications in Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing and their intersection. I received my PhD and my Masters from Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal (LITIV), where I worked with Guillaume_Alexandre Bilodeau on thermal-visible stereo visual surveillance systems.
